At Maderas Soto, we manufacture a wide range of wood and wood-based products. We are located in Ourense and have been committed to ecology and nature conservation since our beginnings. Therefore, we have voluntarily taken steps to help preserve our environment.
Our intention is to promote Sustainable Forest Management so that we can contribute to preventing the loss of forest cover and thus be able to pass on to future generations what previous generations have passed on to us.
For this reason, we have implemented the PEFC Chain of Custody system in our company, a system for verifying the origin of our wood. We have also incorporated devices into our vehicles to reduce fuel consumption and, consequently, CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. In addition, we have also implemented compliance with ECO standards for our machinery.
