At Maderas Soto, we are wood specialists in Ourense. Our company was founded by Mr. Enrique Soto Pérez in the late 1940s. At that time, we worked in the felling and extraction of timber in the Galician mountains and sawing wood using traditional methods. In the 1950s, we managed to open a small factory in Toén.

A decade later, Mr. Enrique Soto Pérez and his family launched the new sawmill in Ourense, quickly becoming one of the first companies in the capital to carry out a second processing of domestic wood.

Maderas Soto was founded in 1983 with over 12,000 m² of land to carry out our activities, undergoing a progressive technological transformation within a sector we know intimately, and directly importing raw materials and exporting products.
